Review of Justice League (2017) by Petros T — 06 Dec 2017
I am not sure why this film got such bad review from so many. It does not quite have the depth of a Marvel Avengers. But it is expected since DC didn't invest the time Marvel took to slowly develop each character.
But this is not a bad film by any means. It is still very entertaining. They handled each character pretty much as well as they can in a single film. The weakest part of this movie is probably the villain, which is not terribly interesting, and not able to get the movie watchers more emotionally involved to the plight of the heroes.
And the main villain's CG effect is quite unconvincing. But these are relatively minor flaws that do not significantly impact the entertainment value of this movie. The directors also did a pretty good job balancing the screen time of each main characters.
I even think they did a pretty good setup for each of them to separate off and star their own individual films after Justice League. I didn't think I would care for Aquaman and Cyborg by watching this movie.
But this movie actually got me looking forward for their own films in the future. They over did the comic relieve on the Flash a bit. But I did like the TV show, and I do like Flash's presence in the team.
He had some of the more memorable funny lines for me in the movie. All in all, this is a good film. You should not dismiss it because of the critical reviews out there. Oh, stay to the end of the credits at the end.
DC is copying all the things Marvel is doing. But at least they are finally doing a decent job at it.
