Review of Justice League (2017) by Ozzy F — 25 Nov 2017

I'm a comic book movie fan and liked the recent Wonder Woman movie, which I hoped was a sign of better things to come from DC Movies. Unfortunately, I was wrong and Justice League is something I'd like to remove from my memory as soon as I possibly can.

I don't go to these kinds of movies expecting to hear great dialogue but I expect it to be adequate, which is not the case here, where it is clunky and clichéd. The plot is so simplistic you know what's going to happen at the end from about 15 minutes in, there's no proper character development of The Flash, Aquaman or Steppenwolf, and even some of the special effects are dodgy, the worst being the cartoon-like visage of Steppenwolf, which is completely unforgivable in my view. I could go on but save to say that I wish I'd saved my money for Black Panther & Avengers: Infinity War.
