Review of Justice League (2017) by Marcus D — 21 Nov 2017

I liked all of the main JL characters individually. Gadot / Wonder Woman was magnetic, but maybe didn't shine as brightly as in her solo film. Affleck / Batman I still feel is one of the best Batman that we have every had on the big screen. But maybe his performance in this film was a little tired compared with BvS.

Momoa / Aquaman was interesting and charismatic. Miller / Flash was genuinely funny and Fisher / Cyborg was good as the in his broody / teen angst role.

However, I Hated the bland and generic CGI villain, the same as a hated the CGI villain from BvS.

I also though that there was too much Forced humour and that the whole film was too short, too shallow and nowhere near enough plot building or detail.

I preferred the dark and dramatic tone of BvS and I prefer Synder's work compared to Whedon's work.

Inn conclusion, I enjoyed every member of the main team, but I disliked the story, villain and tone of the film.
