Review of Justice League (2017) by Louis F — 21 Nov 2017
In my opinion I feel that the movie was a good movie, sure it had it's flaws but every movie does. It was fun, action packed and had great comic relief. I do wish we saw Zack Snyder's full version but for obvious reasons he couldn't finish off the movie. I feel the cast did a great job of bringing their characters to our screens and some for the first time. Ezra Millers Flash was a stand out character for me as he was quite clearly the comic relief in the movie as well as Ben Affleck's Batman who had some comedic moments(which were well done). The movies tone was a lot brighter than BvS which I personally enjoyed. I liked the gritty and brutal action that we saw in that movie but I also loved seeing the Team unite to save the world and bring a bit of comedy to that also.
The villain was very good also and basically showed the team who's boss until Superman turned up. Ben Afflecks Batman again was sensational and every time I see him on screen I can't help but think he Is exactly what we see in the comics. The entire cast did an exceptional job with their performances and I feel like we got to see their off screen relationships with each other shine through the screen and saw the genuine enjoyment they got with working with each other.
Now that being said, there was some pretty bad flaws that were in the movie.
It felt rushed, now that's clearly down to them only having 2 hours to fit in all of story.
They also had issues with Superman and his mustache CGI which I you could notice in the movie. We can also see the difference between Zack Snyders scenes and Joss Whedons many changes did play a role in the certain problems with the movie.
All in all I really enjoyed the movie and will watch again. I would like to see a Zack Snyder cut of the movie as I feel this would do the film Justice (excuse the pun).
