Review of Justice League (2017) by Movie F — 19 Nov 2017

During Justice League, I was thinking, "this movie is really fun," but after months of thinking about my final opinion of this movie, I've realized that I was genuinely disappointed in this movie.

I suppose I was too caught up in the moment and wasn't able to accept the fact that I strongly disliked the movie. A few of the action sequences were entertaining, but the CGI was quite horrible, the villain's backstory was not engaging or emotional at all, and the film's plot was extremely messy and frustrating.

I did enjoy The Flash's presence, but what was most disappointing about the film is that most of the messages from Wonder Woman about female empowerment felt largely diminished -- and the few sexist jokes that I heard didn't help at all.

The performances were alright, and the humor didn't fit in most scenes. I tried very hard to find all of the action fun and thrilling, but because the FX were so incredibly poor, I just found myself snickering.
