Not a great movie by today's standards, but by 80's standards...a CLASSIC! Ok, this movie is not a classic by any standards, but it does feature a lot of 80's staples, including the Karate Kid's douchebag nemesis, William Zabka, who plays his usual, slightly gay, jock, who loves to lift the lunch tables of school nerds, dropping their food to the ground. What a douche.
You also have the horny teenage brother, as well some nudity from the film's star, Joyce Hyser, who has some pretty big, very not bad boobs, if I do say so myself. Actually, they're pretty damn great boobs, and probably worth the price of admission alone. Speaking of Joyce Hyser, what ever happened to her? She wasn't super great in this movie, but she was far from terrible. How is it that William Zabka gets to play the same part dozens of times throughout the eighties, but Joyce Hyser's rack--err, I mean acting prowess, gets no chances to shine? We may never know.
Just One Of The Guys isn't a classic, but it's definitely watchable, and does feature one or two funny moments. Not to mention a great pair of tit--uh, I mean, performance, by Joyce Hyser. I'd recommend it if you can't find anything else to watch from your Netflix Instant Queue.
