This is a typical 80's movie that doesn't logically work but you still enjoy it and watch for its terrible 80's charm. You know, like a werewolf playing basketball. I guess you have to grow up in the 80's to appreciate the bad.
"The Karate Kid" references alone makes it worth watching.
