Review of Just My Luck (2006) by Movie K — 14 Feb 2010

Quite a good story and Lindsay Lohan is still pretty in this one. Lindsay always have good luck and Chris Pine is always really unlucky. He tried to hand the band cd to top music producer Faizon Love but got into series of bad luck and miss the chance.

In a meeting with Faizon, Lindsay's boss was stuck in the lift and he is about to leave when she pitch her idea and nail the contract. Much to her boss delight, she rise up the rank. At the party, Chris pretend to be a dancer and sneak in.

He saw Lindsay and ask her for a dance. They kissed and their luck switch immediately. He went after Faizon outside and save him from an on coming taxi. He ask if there's anything he can do for him, Chris hands over the band cd and he immediately score the deal.

Lindsay got chock on an olive and then arrested by police because Carlos is an escort. She was fired and her home is drown and infected with virus. She stays with her pals and cause short circuit to the whole building.

She went to find the tarot card lady and that is which she realise her luck was transfer through a kiss. She try to kiss all the dancers to get back her luck. Meanwhile Chris enjoy success with the band and move into a big house.

Her date with the hot bachelor ends up a big failure. In the diner, Chris saw how unlucky she is and gave her some food to eat and offer his old job to her. The band is gaining popularity and having a concert soon.

Chris and Lindsay starts falling in love. When he need another new hit song, Lindsay let her friend Samaire Armstrong give a shot. Lindsay over hear the talk between Chris and Faizon on that fateful day and quickly kiss him.

Her luck is back and she got back her job. But Chris got bad luck, as the song isn't approve to be use. The drummer is lock down in the stage. Lindsay decides to go back and kiss him. Right after the drummer touch a switch and appears on stage.

They perform the songs and it is a hit. She decide to leave. Chris went to find her and their luck switch back and forth. They don't care about it anymore.
