My God, I reread my silly fluffy 13 year old review on this film filled with !!!!!! and I just had to re-rate.
This film is so typically American. I bet Lindsay Lohan soaked up the concept of being a lucky, rich New Yorker - and also be nice at the same time. Lindsay Lohan herself obviously cannot accomplish this.
However, I have a slight nostalgia of this film as I went to see it in the cinema for my 13th birthday with my Mum.
I re-watched it and I found it irritating, American and so lacking in humour that I found myself laughing at the Jeremy Kyle show afterwards - that is how much I needed a laugh.
However, when I first saw this I was a young girl and it was right for me at the time, and so I give this 2 stars.
BUT THAT EXTRA 1 AND A HALF STAR IS NOT FOR YOU, LINDSAY LOHAN.
