Review of Just Like Heaven (1930) by Alex S — 03 Feb 2010

I'm finding more and more that I really hate most modern romantic comedies. Mostly. I'm a big fan however of classic romantic comedies, especially ones staring Cary Grant...

I felt like this film was rather poorly directed and bad acting mixed with bad screen writing plague it. Although the plot is intriguing (post mortum romance and all that) it generally failed to make me feel attached to the characters.

I will say that this movie did have some very funny parts in it and by no means is a complete waste of time.
