Eddie (Nick Swardson): What are you doing later?

Kirsten Brant (Rachel Dratch): Oh, ah, I'm actually dating anybody else right now.

Surprisingly enough, I still wanted to see this even though I dislike Jennifer Aniston's (very limited) acting abilities because I do like most of Adam Sandler's rom-coms. So with that said, this was like any of Sandler's rom-com: the plot is pretty predictable but it really does work for him kind of humor. Sandler was the same self-deprecating character with a whole lot of hidden charm and very likeable character. Even though his character does something very deceitful, the set-up in the beginning makes the audience sympathize with Danny (Sandler) and silently root for his deception. Jennifer Aniston's Katherine had a genuine and understated comedic chemistry with Sandler's Danny. As much as I dislike Aniston's acting-style, she wasn't the dead-weight in this movie: Brooklyn Decker (who play's Palmer) was and it was quite obvious why she was casted for this film and her "assets" was generously exploited. Nicole Kidman (Devlin Adams) is always brilliant with her dramatic, but who knew she could be funny too? Her portrayal of Devlin was a treat to watch. Granted this film will never ever win an Oscar for anything but if your already a Sandler fan, it's just another fun movie of his that is worthy of a gander (although, for some reason, I kept expecting Rob Schneider to pop-up somewhere in the film and utter his token "You can do it!" line. Somehow, I actually missed it).
