Review of Just Go with It (2011) by Alice S — 23 May 2015
A fairly serviceable love-was-right-in-front-of-me story. Brooklyn Decker plays hot but nice to a tee (faint praise), and Jennifer Aniston is a reliable voice of reason, but the true standout is young Bailee Madison as Adam Sandler's pretend daughter.
Her mile-a-minute-British-theatre-kid schtick is overbearing yet perfect. The movie really revs up with the hula dance and coconut passing competition - featuring wild cameos by Nicole Kidman and Dave Matthews - and even Aniston and Sandler generate some rollicking chemistry.
