Review of Just Friends (2012) by Evelyn — 01 May 2009

It had some really shitty cliched moments, like the scene where all the Christmas decorations collapse and pretty much anything to do with the kids. The hockey scene, in particular, just pissed me off.

Too fucking ridiculous and unfunny while also being wholly unnecessary since Ryan Reynolds is fucking hilarious on his own and pretty much everyone in the supporting cast was great when they were downplaying their roles.

But as soon as it ventured off into physical comedy or involved those annoying kids, I just completely lost interest. Luckily, there's enough classic moments with Reynolds being awesome that almost completely makes up for it.

The only other problem is the ending, which was abrupt and felt rushed. Also the final joke with the kids was just stupid and unnecessary. Ruined the whole movie.
