Review of Just Cause (1995) by Fatimah D — 28 May 2009
A surprisingly intelligent movie about judgement, and society's habits of stereotyping individuals - both of the good and bad characters. Awesome acting here. Underwood is disturbingly convincing in his role, as is Harris - it has to be said that Harris completely owns every scene he's in, and definitely had my favourite character, for the sheer life he puts into him.
I didn't like Fishburne's character initially, but he grew on me, as did Connery's - both of which were well acted. Location-wise, the Florida Everglades were spectacular - practically a character itself, being lush, alive, and very haunting.
