Review of Just Before I Go (2015) by Gomi A — 16 May 2015
I've seen some really good performances in this film, pity SWS's isn't one of them. For some reason casting him as a main character a broken man who wants to commit a suicide because he is just done with living was not a best move.
Yes he is trying hard but it is not smooth, I did not believe him his character. On the other hand this tragicomedy/drama is very fresh in Hollywood these days, pity though all the good moments in the film are immediately killed with some stupid idiotic line.
The biggest surprise for me was seeing Courtney Cox being a director of this. Right. This is faaaaaar away from being a best film in the world and perhaps you need to be in certain set of mind but somehow I liked this film and I also enjoyed it pretty much.
Maybe because of the slow way it is told ....
