Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Clifton D — 28 Jun 2018
Just saw Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and I have to say I really liked it. At first you think it's going to be a carbon copy of Lost World Jurassic Park Part 2, but halfway through it changes setting and starts to get really good.
Sure the screenplay and the story are not going to win any awards, but I feel like it was a much improved over Jurassic World (aka Jurassic Park 4). Also I felt the acting was much better in this 5th entry.
Jurassic World (Jurassic Park 4) tried so hard to be Jurassic Park and was okay, but a cheap imitation. The setting changes from the jungle of some random island near Costa Rica to a large mansion and suddenly the movie got better.
Having a dinosaur loose in your house is a scary idea. I like Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom better then Jurassic World and I may even like it better than part two and three as well. It was enough of the same but different enough in a good way.
Don't think too hard, this is a fun time at the movies.
