Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Morgan V — 04 Aug 2018
This movie's INCESSANT need to hammer the "commercialism is bad" message from the lost world becomes laughable only a few short minutes into the film. No matter how much it tries to tell us that the message is about tampering with genetics and bringing back extinct species, the overall ideology of saying how evil businessmen and money is becomes so BLATANT it makes the movie cringe-worthy.
This message has been done to death, and badly, in earlier movies for the last several years, as if a businessman's money didn't pay for them in some way. I enjoyed some parts but the bad makes you wonder if they proof-read their script and the cliche makes you cringe so hard you may need fillings.
Overall, its a badly done movie with a stupid message that they tried to combine with an unnecessary message. Watch for the hell of it, but try not to spend too much, its not worth it.
