Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by C L — 15 Jul 2018

A very enjoyable movie with a great cast. While every Jurassic 'verse film is bound to contain certain repeating motifs (dinosaurs chasing people is sort of a given) I thought this movie managed to find its own unique spin that didn't fall into too many of the common sequel shortcomings.

It had its failings and a couple of logical head-scratchers, but they didn't detract too much in my opinion. The story was well acted, the effects were well handled, and it was overall a solid and enjoyable entry into the franchise.

The events that it sets in motion also hold some interesting promise for a new directional spin in future movies.
