This has an exciting story that pays homage to the original, (mostly) great visual effects (there was some CGI that looked unfinished), Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt are excellent, and Michael Giacchino's score (expertly interwoven with John Williams' classic theme) is brilliant.
