Review of Jurassic World (2015) by Jay S — 01 Feb 2018

As a fan of the first Jurassic Park, this one falls on the opposite end of Speilberg's original monster movie. This one was ridiculous on many fronts, including the forced humor that I found a bit cringe-worthy.

As for the dinos chasing humans, it had your standard thrills but mostly yawns, mainly derived from absurd situations created by the characters applying nonsensical movie logic to set themselves up for danger.

To cap it off, both Pratt and Howard were uninteresting characters to keep me bored, even though this is a movie to be watched for its special fx and thrills.
