Review of Jurassic World (2015) by Dana G — 03 Oct 2016
It's an enjoyable ride, but probably not one you'd want to have a second go at.
--I recognised the main character from Guardians of the Galaxy and the Indian narrator from Life of Pi (pet peeve: I think professional actors should change their looks for each new movie, so that we don't associate them with their characters from previous movies; it's just immersion-breaking.).
--Some parts of the movie felt a little bit unrealistic/illogical/melodramatic, but maybe you won't notice (the Girlfriend didn't.).
--The final act felt somewhat like watching a Godzilla film.
--The Girlfriend thinks the lead actress looks super hot--ripped skirt and all--and should be inside some superhero movie; I think she'd make an EXCELLENT April O'Neill in a Ninja Turtle live-action movie (to hell with Megan Fox and Michael Bay.).
