Review of Jurassic Park III (2001) by Michael T — 08 Jan 2012

There was no Michael Chricton novel to base this on and Spielberg produced, letting his former AD Joe Johnson direct. Sam Neil is back from the first movie and Laura Dern makes a cameo apperance (and there are references to Richard Attenborough and Jeff Goldblum's characters).

Joining Sam is another solid cast that includes William H. Macy and Tea Leoni. Its enjoyable, and the Pteranodon sequence was pretty chilling but as with the second film in the series, the CGI dinosaurs weren't as fun as they were the first time.

This rounds out the Jurassic Part Ultimate Trilogy BLU-RAY collection from Universal.
