Renowned paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant, hoping to support research on velociraptor intelligence, is incited by wealthy adventurer Paul Kirby and his wife Amanda to accompany them on an aerial tour of Isla Sorna, the former InGen site B. This infamous island has transformed into both a primordial breeding ground for John Hammond's magnificent creations and a magnet for thrill-seekers eager to encounter them. Following a disastrous accident that left the dwindling party marooned, Grant finds out that his deceptive hosts are following him along. He is now forced to learn the frightful implications of the raptor intelligence theory while encountering the the terrifying new creatures.

Directed by Joe Johnston, 'Jurassic Park' features great acting performances from the following cast:

1.) Sam Neill (Alan Grant).

2.) William H. Macy (Paul Kirby).

3.) Tea Leoni (Amanda Kirby).

4.) Alessandro Nivola (Billy Brennan).

5.) Trevor Morgan (Eric Kirby).

6.) Michael Jeter (Udesky).

I remember watching 'Jurassic Park III' when it first came out and hoped for more excitement as with the previous two movies. And even 11 years after its 2001 release, I knew the film was still exciting for me although I felt it wasn't necessarily perfect as I now realized it. The running time was only 93 minutes (which therefore is the shortest chapter in the series) and, this time, Spielberg wasn't the director here - although he did executive-produced it while Johnston is directing all the work for him. Despite these errors I still liked the film as it is still scary and contained exciting moments of our characters running away from danger and chaos, all due to the advancement of digital special effects (SFX) that created the ferocious monsters. The acting performances are still good - it's nice to see Sam Neill again for a new chance to do his Alan Grant role right here, a real triumphant return to the series. While 'Jurassic Park III' is my least favorite in the series I still find it fun to watch and would like to watch it again for the viewing experience.
