Review of Jurassic Park III (2001) by Sumit S — 08 Nov 2012
The third installment in the Jurassic Park franchise adds nothing new & is also weakest of the three films, Jurassic Park III lacks the creative vision of Steven Spielberg or even a convincing plot, but the dinosaurs are as cool as ever.
Joe Johnston direction was mediocre & no match to Spielberg. The performance is very average, the intensity & suspense is missing, the runtime is quite less & still, Jurassic Park III will be able to entertain the die-hard fans of this franchise to some extent & does contain some really good sequences, the best being the one involving Pterasaurus in the bird cage.
Compared to previous two films in the franchise, Jurassic Park III is the downgraded version where nothing but the visual effects lived up to its expectations.
