Review of Jurassic Park III (2001) by Jake B — 04 Jul 2014
There's only one saving grace in this messy third installment of the Jurassic Park trilogy, the cool dinosaur fight. The effects are dazzling, but it masks a poorly written story and some unconvincing dialogue.
Everything feels as if it has been done before, and I cared so little about the disposable characters that I didn't care when most of them died. There is no tension, despite the rapidly evolving and dangerous dinos.
Sam Neill tries his best, but even he can't return the magic of this series. Jurassic Park ||| gets 2/5 stars (C-).
