Review of Jurassic Park III (2001) by Craig F — 18 Jun 2015
Money grubbing seems to be the driving force for this series at this point, both in returning to Isla Sorna and in continuing the films. While the first two films were adventure films, 3 is a failed attempt at horror.
Infected with bad CGI, noticeably horrid camera work and an alienating script. Sam Neil seems to be playing an entirely different character from the smart and likable man in the first film... an Indiana Jones wannabe.
.. not cool. Once again Grant has to rescue kids, once again we've got all the same dinosaurs, and once again we've got velociraptors... only this time they can speak. It's needless and redundant, no one looks remotely enthusiastic to be in the film.
In spite of the first two films, everyone in this entry has been hit with stupid just to further prove the velociraptors intelligence... which we already knew. Makes me mad that someone read this script and approved it.
