Review of Jurassic Park III (2001) by George B — 23 Jul 2015

This movie is!........not that bad.....in fact.....its actually a lot of fun to be honest...

I mean, again, its no where near as good as the first movie, its another pointless sequel to a movie that never needed sequels, and its technically speaking not a good movie, but director Joe Johnson does his best to work with the ground laid by the original and lost world and makes a much more progressive sequel.

The action is great, the effects are solid, the acting is good, the characters aren't as moronic or bland in Lost World or World, and the pterodactyl cage scene alone made the movie worth watching.

But again, it has issues, like the first act is complete shit, the fight between the T-Rex and that other Dinosaur is pretty bullshit, its pretty uneven most of the time, and it doesn't have the same wonder and awe of the original, but as it is? I'll gladly take this over the overly okay Lost World and the massive train wreck of terrible effects and writing known as Jurassic World.

So, if you're like me and you've heard nothing but bad things about this movie and curious to check it out, I'd say, find a decent copy online and give it a watch if ya have some time ya want to kill.

Not a good movie.....but a better one than it could have been and a lot better than people give it credit for...
