Review of Jurassic Park (1993) by Sanchayan S — 08 Jan 2014
One of the few films that amazed me as a kid and still amazes me . Those scary visual effects of T.Rex approaching mixed with the insane delight at seeing the first glimpse of the dinosaur is what that runs throughout the film .
Excellent musical score underlying , John Williams delivers a delight to the ears while the master Steven Spielberg brings forward something we have never seen before. For the entire length it will keep us on the edge of our seats with a huge amount of tension and suspense circling the entire movie .
This is a survival horror kind of movie that not only scares the hell out you but also gives some glints of hope at unexpected situations with a strong emotional thread lying at the core. It deals with the theme of ignorance , arrogance of men which can lead to disasters and brings in a different nature of Nature itself which shows sometimes that we are not the most superior beings on this planet.
