Review of Jupiter Ascending (2015) by Ashley V — 14 Mar 2016
This movie is absolutely, without a doubt one of the worst films I have ever seen-- AND I LOVE IT!!
The special effects are well done. The movie has A-listers like Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum; both of whom have a worst chemistry grade than my Junior year self. Sean Bean is just as you'd hope for him to be, alive and bitter. Eddie Redmayne is perfectly terrible at being a villain and his random outbursts are reminiscent of Gary Oldman in "The Fifth Element." People hate this movie because it lacks substance and really, quite honestly, makes NO SENSE. BUT...!
You're going about it all wrong if you sit down EXPECTING a good movie. You need to go about it with an open mind. A very, huge, gaping space where your brain should be type of open mind. I compare it to Starship Troopers meets Battlefield Earth, and cousins with Waterworld and Matrix. ����
If you love bad movies, YOU'LL ADORE THIS ONE!!
