Review of Jupiter Ascending (2015) by Gnilleps — 21 Feb 2015
This movie was graphically delicious. With that said, this is a predictable yawn, sadly.
They spent WAY too much time on lore, the movie CRAWLED in places.
That said, the Universe was REALLY well developed. It was a living, breathing thing.
The main characters (Jupiter/Caine) have zero chemistry. I was never worried about them dying. Or their emotional status. The other characters were AMAZING by contrast. The Abrasax family acting talent was some of the best acting I have seen in a while.
