Review of Juno (2007) by Michael A — 03 Jan 2013
- A smart, funny, innovative comedy/drama. Brilliantly shot, written and directed as well as performed. Great across the board.
- I especially loved how the director and/or the producer seamlessly integrated certain emotional elements that you're confused on earlier on in the movie, like the photo of "Bleeker" or the piece of paper for Vanessa. Fantastic idea and excellently done.
- I did have a problem with the end though. It felt a bit rushed and sort of forgot to add what happened to Mark. Also, throughout the movie, having the little daughter and supposed sister of Juno seemed unnecessary.
- Overall a great, thought-provoking, "down to earth" emotionally movie.
