Review of Juno (2007) by Ralf W — 10 Feb 2013
This film is free of the patina of shit Hollywood seems to bestow on the majority of what it squeezes out. It doesn't pander to an audience looking for snappy one-liners and fantastic knee-slapping moments of low-brow comedy.
It is witty and touching when it needs to be, and is refreshingly unassuming by presenting the handling of a family dilemma without being preachy or making a moral statement.
