Review of Juno (2007) by Fred V — 07 Apr 2015
I'm gonna say it loud and clear: I didn't like Juno. I know hundreds of people love it. I'm not one of them. The cast is great and I didn't mind Diablo Cody's witty, unrealistic dialogue.
It's the titular character I don't like. Juno is just too whiny and annoying for me. By the end, it feels like she doesn't even have an arc. I mean, what does she really learn? Don't get pregnant? Don't have feelings for a much older man? It's not Ellen Page I didn't like.
It's just Juno.
