Review of Jungle Fever (1994) by Nick Y — 30 Jun 2010
One of Spike's greats w/ a hilarious yet tragic Samuel L. Jackson. Wesley Snipes shines in a non-action role and makes the character a likable guy despite his dishonorable act. Great supporting cast including the Jungle Fever-smitten John Turturro, Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee as Flipper and Gator's parents.
The Stevie Wonder-laden soundtrack also adds dimension to the film. Well done effort.
