Review of Jungle Book (1942) by Kenneth S — 23 Mar 2009
A good quality copy of this film is hard to find. I happened to catch it on TCM, where the truly restored version was played. I must say it was a lot better than the Digiview Entertainment DVD I own. Anyway, this 1942 version of Rudyard Kipling's classic tale is a very fun and charming picture, directed by Zoltan Korda.
Sabu stars as Mowgli in this adventurous little film.
