Review of Jungle 2 Jungle (1997) by John C P — 23 Jan 2012
In 1997, I saw two jungle-man movies that are memorable - and similar - to me: 'George Of The Jungle' and 'Jungle 2 Jungle'. The latter, starring Tim Allen, is about a commodities broker named Michael Cromwell who travels to the Amazon, where he meets his blow dart-shooting and spider-carrying son Mimi-Siku.
This meeting results in a clash of cultures - that of the city and that of the jungle - that results in humor that made me laugh: Mimi is entrusted by his tribal chief that he must bring home the fire from the Statue Of Liberty and he even chases people with his spider.
Oh, as what Michael told Mimi, pets are not for eating. 'Jungle 2 Jungle' is one funny jungle movie that I really enjoyed!
