Review of Junebug (2005) by Andrew H — 12 Jan 2008
This is a beautiful film that explores family dynamics without going for any cheap plot twists (I was expecting something really creepy to happen the whole time). It's a nontraditional story arc, so it isn't going to be for everyone, but I think the fantastic performances (especially by Adams) and the poignancy of the subject matter carry this film to a cut above.
