For some reason this movie didn't make much of an impression on me when I originally saw it in 2006. Maybe it was because I was a new father and still in a sleep deprived daze. Following a trip to North Carolina in the summer of 2012 with my Mom, I decided to watch it again.

We took a tour of an amazing store called Replacements, where a scene in Junebug was filmed. After seeing it again I don't know what I was thinking the first time. It's really good. Amy Adams is fantastic and well deserving of her Oscar nomination.
