Unhappy characters? Check. Dysfunctional family? Check. Agonizingly slow pace? Personal conflict? Tragedy at the end so everyone can cry on camera? Very little actually happens for 100 minutes? All check.
Congratulations, Junebug- you're a popular independent film! Amy Adams does a great job in an otherwise unremarkable movie.
