Review of Jumping the Broom (2011) by Ladytink B — 05 May 2011
A Noble attempt to avoid the cliche ends up offering nothing more than a glimpse of all the cliches. The movie is not terrible, but it eventually lacks depth since all the major issues a brushed over, never rising to the surface as a driving force behind the movie.
It is unfortunate that the very reason why it is titled "Jumping the Broom" never comes to life as the cornerstone of what could have been a very inspirational movie.
