Cute. Patton is beautiful, as always, but a little cheesy in her acting in this movie. Laz Alonso isn't a very convincing or strong lead actor. There are some pretty funny moments and dialogue, particularly from Mike Epps.

I found Mrs. Taylor, Jason's mom, to be annoying, a meddling troublemaker, and largely unsympathetic. I never felt sorry for her. I always wished Jason would tell her off because out of all the characters, she is the most taxing and over-dramatic.

I do agree with the sentiments that there are too many characters and subplots, but that aside, it's a cute romantic comedy.
