I have a genuine love for this film and regard it as one of my all time favourite comedies. It's the perfect film to sit back and lose 90 minutes or so. I'm surprised to see it rated so low on here.
Definititely Whoopi's best. There's something about these 1980s comedies that you just don't get in films today.
