Review of Jumper (2008) by Zack S — 15 Aug 2011
The critics can say what they want about Jumper, but I thought it was pretty cool and highly entertaining. Yes, this movie does have some wooden acting with the only solid performance coming from Samuel L.
Jackson. Who pretty much steals the show here as the main villain Roland. That being said though, Jumper still does have a great concept and the storyline is solid. I don't know why the critics criticized the special effects so much.
I thought they were very well done and the cinematography was good. The action was also really good as well. There was literally never a dull moment here. I guess this is more of a guilty pleasure, but I still don't think it should have gotten the crap it received from the critics.
