Review of Jumper (2008) by Mikhail B — 09 Jan 2012
A boy discovers a talent of teleporting ('jumping') from one place to another. That somehow leads him to think that he is not worthy of a girl he kind-of liked, and he escapes from home. Several years on, he finds out that there is a monstrous religious organisation that seeks to eliminate all 'jumpers'; that is when he goes for a reunion with his former girlfriend to make the game of hide-seek-and-kill more interesting.
Allied with another jumper he kills the evil lord of the eliminators and walks away with his girlfriend. Effects are wonderfully done, unlike the script. Good stuff for kids.
