The filmmakers spend so much time setting up loose ends and unanswered questions for a potential sequel or franchise, they fail to deliver a full movie. Thankfully, they'll likely never get the chance to "pay off" on what they started -- which is mainly a whole lot of bad acting, bad plotting and ultimately little payoff.
Too bad -- there was potential here. (Note to Hollywood: Time to stop giving Hayden Christensen a 'chance' -- he can't act! And give Rachel Bilson a reality show on E! already, so we don't have to deal with her at the movies!).
