Review of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) by Kristin B — 08 Apr 2018
A fun twist on the original film, but still not as good as the original. The set up of the premise is very clever, however, and rather than relying on being a copy cat of the original film, it does forge its own path, which I can respect.
Good performances from all, with a particular stand out from Jack Black, playing a vapid beautiful teenage girl trapped in the body of a middle aged professor. Certainly worth the watch, but if you're feeling nostalgic, rent the original.
