Review of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) by Norse — 25 Mar 2018

This was a surprisingly good movie; come to think of it, all of the movies featuring The Rock have been awesome lately.

What impressed me most, in order: they made a compelling feel good movie out of a video game plot. The humor in the entire movie keeps walking a really fine line - anything more would be either cliche, ham fisted or plain gross, but the way it's written and acted out makes it hilarious while remaining on the side of good taste. That's a pretty impressive achievement in it's own right.
