Review of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) by Smpeachy — 11 Mar 2018
Actually surprisingly better than I expected. Coming to watch this movie, I was expecting a pretty lame original Jumanji rip off, but it does well to reference the original one without copying it. Performances from all of the cast were pretty good, not amazing, but still all right, and the overall story was good.
Great combination of action, sense of adventure and humor, however, is mainly aimed at teens, and really no one else. You could wait for this to come out later in the year on DVD or other forms but would be a good movie to go and watch in the cinema.
It is hard for the audience to see a character development within the teenagers, but rather Black, Hart, Johnson, and Gillan in the actual Jumanji.
