Review of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) by Yiwen W — 09 Feb 2018

This turned out to be a much funnier movie than I expected. The plot as a whole was so boring and formula that it could have been written by a computer - but there were these scenes nestled inside that were incredibly funny, with sharp, witty dialogue, well thought out characters, and excellent performances.

Jack Black in particular was stellar - it was as if he was born to play the role of a fourteen year old girl.
