Review of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) by Rtheom — 21 Dec 2017

Overall, this movie ranked about the same as most of The Rock's other movies. Not good enough to be something I'd want to watch twice, but not bad enough that I feel like I wasted my time watching it. If you've seen any of The Rock's other movies, you know exactly what you're getting in this movie.

It didn't really feel or play like a sequel to Jumanji, it just kinda borrowed the name and could just as easily have been called "Silly Fun Jungle Romp", but that's what you get out of it. A silly, fun, jungle romp.

I can't say I'd recommend it, but you also know exactly what you're getting out of this before you go see it. If you don't already know exactly what you're going to get, then you can skip it, it probably won't satisfy you in the end.
